Gavin McGarry, Founder, Jumpwiremedia
Before founding Jumpwire Media in 2009 Gavin worked for online video start up Joost and was the Head of Cross Platform Business Development at global television production company Endemol. His past experience includes positions at major television networks as well as owning and operating a television production company and a boutique advertising agency. He is invited to speak at media industry conferences on a regular basis including: MIPCOMHarvard Business Club of New YorkNAPTEXmedia Lab, etc.

Jennifer Harkness, Founder, Jumpwiremedia
Jennifer Harkness has more than 18 years of experience in the film and television industry.  Most recently, as Head of Development Factual Entertainment for Temple Street, Jennifer spearheaded the development of non-scripted programs including Temple Street’s highly-rated competitive food program Recipe to Riches (Food Network Canada, Global) and the competitive music show Cover Me Canada (CBC). Jennifer is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Producer Lab where she successfully produced several short films which screened in festivals around the world.

Amy Davies, Executive Producer, Crossmedia
Amy is a leading business to business event and communications expert, with 8+ years of experience working across TV and entertainment, digital media and advertising. Before founding AD Events and Consulting in 2012 Amy was the Director of Events and Programmes for Achilles Media, overseeing the content department that produced The Banff World Media Festival, nextMEDIA, Canadian Innovation Exchange, Benchmark and The Impact Media Summit. Her past experience includes positions at Emap working across Broadcast Magazine, Screen International and IMM Europe and the Wireless World Forum as Manager of Public Relations. Jonathan is an experienced marketing and business development professional with a specialty in technology startups. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario’s Management program with honours and a specialty in finance and consumer behaviour. Jonathan’s first taste of startups was when he founded Biz Inc., University of Western Ontario’s first student business incubator. Since then he has worked with new businesses in a variety of industries, including social media marketing, enterprise solutions, education, human resources, and nonprofit with a focus on lean startup methodologies and customer development. He is highly active in the lean startup community and has brought Lean Startup Machine workshops to both Toronto and Montreal. Jonathan is passionate about new media and the technology that comes along with it. Always looking for the next big thing, Jonathan works with our implementation team to mould these future ideas into creative new solutions for our clients.
